FPS HELP!

Hey, my FPS is about 40 to 60, how can I increase it and decrease lag? I haven't tried any of those config stuff, because i dont know what to do exactly, and I am afraid i might mess it up somehow, and plus i am too lazy to find the exact text that needs to be changed. please help me!

Your game will look like shit, but you will get higher FPS. Make sure to set the file as read only when you get done.

And for the record, 60 FPS is not bad.

ohh I would like to keep my quality/graphics really high, and well, my fps is usually like 45 to 55 to be more specific, but there were some times when it went down to 35 and up to about 60, that 60 rarely occurs..

You are not going to have high graphics AND high FPS. If you computer can not play the game at high graphics, you will have to pick one of the two.

If you want a simple fix, just go in the options in game, turn off AA, and set all textures to low, and turn off all the little extras.

i need to play with lags if i encounter someone it go's to like 6 fps
and you even play on high ( i don't )

40-60 FPS isn't that bad, what Video Card do you have?
(Update Drivers if you haven't updated them already)

disable vsync ingame and your fps goes higher than 60

Thats right i didnt changed it and im always running 60 fps steady and i know i can get higher.

My graphics card is GeForce GTX 460.

4 variables in Crappy FPS

1) Graphics lag (Update drivers or get a new one)

2) processor speed is crap (get a new computer)

3) game settings (Simple fix but only if you want to have less good looking games)

4) also there is one most people look over its incompatible graphics card (get one that works)

That is it...can't have your cake and eat it too...
