Help with graphics,plz!

I have a problem.. i rly wanna play black ops with higher graphics, playing on minimun at the moment.
My system is: CPU, AMD athlon II x2 2.7GHz
GPU, nVidia 9400GT
RAM: 4GB
I have a older computer that's with a Intel Pentium4 3.0 GHz
If i would transfer the GPU to my other computer would that make my computer faster?
i mean well, wich is faster for gaming, intel Pentium4 3.0GHz or athlon II x2 2.7GHZ ?

Its called Central Processing Unit(CPU) Not GPU lol I wouldn't suggest anyone who doesn't know about computers to work on them

Pro's: You might have a .3% faster computer

Con's: You might been the pins in the cpu and have to buy another CPU or computer when you could of just bought a new computer in the first place

Might not even be compatible (yes it HAS to be compatible)

but yes for CPU's the higher the faster

i have to different PC:s one has a pentium chip inside it and the other one an athlon chip inside it. i was wondering wich is better, the intel or AMD CPU, the GPU (graphics processing unit) i can switch between the systems with little effort.

Athlon II x2 2.7GHZ is faster. [I guess]
