Taking the plunge

Alright, I know that alot of the people her on MPGH use linux, I decided that I want to get into linux because i've always wanted to, but I never knew how to use it. Do you know where I could find a guide on installing SuSe, or Ubuntu?

I have both those distro's on CD.

iunno and i dont know if alot ppl use linux here, dave used it for servers and i think jackal also is or using/used it

I "had" a video link for installing it... It's pretty straightforward, just install it, but some errors are annoying, but once you finish it, it's pretty much over.

yeah, linux, i'm taking that u have never tried it before?, well then a safe way to play is to use a boot cd/dvd, i suggest u work with DSL(damm small linux) it boots off a cd and noes not mess with ur harddrive, and the main thing is taht ur drivers are supported, i cant use certain distros cause my video card is not supported, did that help? if need more help just ask, cause linux is very sensitive and i dont want lost
edit: arun, all win gams play on linux but some lag a bit, i mean, warrock lags in my linux but css runs better in linux
