well i exported a few character bases... converted them 5 times and got them working on C4D (as easy use),... was bored and made something, though the character have glitched things due to the weight tool having messed up the mesh of the end result.

I'm guessing that you couldn't get the uvw map?
Also, did your export come with a bone system, or did you rig it yourself? I've been meaning to do something like this myself, but rigging takes too long

it only the mesh that gets exported... skins u will need to edit... and export and assumingly need to resize.
haven't tested that though was like 5am in the morning till i got this uploaded.
Combat arms files > converting to 3ds max 9, binding HEAD and Body models to one entire model > Create Joints > use weight tool to adjust arms etc... quite tricky due to the mesh inside the body.

It's pretty good looking. The hair looks a little distorted but that might be the weight glitch you were talking about...

actually its the normal hair of the game (flat texture)
