You and I are here because for whatever reason, we have a desire to do something in Vindictus that isn't normally allowed. No matter our true intentions, by using these tools we have become cheaters.
In order to prolong the life of these tools and the enjoyment that our community gets from using them, please take time and read the following suggestions on how to hide your secret life as a cheater in the game of Vinidctus.
1. Cheat in Private
This is the first and most obvious rule that any cheater should follow if you don't want to get banned too quickly or if you're trying to protect an account that you're raising. You can easily cheat in private by putting a check mark on "PRIVATE: INVITE ONLY" when launching a boat.
This way, your boat won't show up on the list, especially if you keep on doing one hit kills and skipping to bosses. Some people actually keep watch of the boat list and try to find cheaters who keep finishing missions in less than a minute.
2. Don't Be Too Obvious
When mining for ores or farming materials, us cheaters have the advantage because we can easily do one hit kills and make other accounts to the appropriate level as farming accounts quickly. The most common error that new excited cheaters make is to sell everything at once right away. It's very common to spot these cheaters because they'll be selling stacks of ores by the hundreds.
A better way to sell your ill-gotten stuff without raising any suspicions is by selling in moderate quantities. Let's say you have more than 500 ores, or 5 stacks. What you do is sell them in groups of 20 to 50. Don't put all of your ores up in the market right away. Wait for the 20 or 50 ores to be sold, and then put up some more.
3. When Partying with Other People, Close the Game First, Then Turn Off Cheating Tool.
There are times when cheaters accidentally activate cheats while partying with other people, therefore blowing their cover. This usually ends up with the cheater getting banned because the people on the boat can easily use the video recorder function in of the game or take a snapshot. This is why it's best to completely close the game and your cheating tool, then restart it once more without the cheating tool if you want to play with others.
4. Beware of Who Is On Your Friends List.
Some people take joy in finding and reporting hackers due to whatever reason. This is why you have to be careful of your actions if you have people online on your friends list.
At best, you don't want to use level skips and one hit hacks while people are online, anything that would make it seem that you're finishing and restarting dungeons too fast because whenever you start a dungeon, a notification pops up on the friends list.
Either remove all of your friends or if you really have to cheat, then try to finish levels in a "normal time". In other words, if a mission usually takes an entire party 10 minutes to finish, then try to finish around that time frame. Don't finish the Irukul mission in less than 5 minutes consecutively as this will raise suspicion!
5. Act Normally.
Just blend in with people. Don't try to brag about how fast you can finish dungeons or how easy you were able to complete your entire armor set. People tend to get jealous easily and would accuse you of being a cheater (even if you really are!).
When people talk about missions and how hard it was for them and it's your turn to talk, just say it was also hard for your "group" (yeah, your one man group) and you all died a few times before winning.
Don't brag, don't show off, don't even act elite.
6. Don't Take Videos or Pictures
Do not ever even try to take videos or pictures of yourself cheating and then upload it somewhere. The more people get interested in cheating, the more they will try to get you banned or find the cheat for themselves. The more exposed a cheat becomes to the public, the more attention the game company will give to it in order to fix it! Too much attention on a cheat leads to it getting fixed!
These are just the basic things that cheaters should always keep in mind if they wish to remain relatively unknown and to keep our cheating tools safe. I hope this helps fellow cheaters of varying experience
