Need some expert with consoles...

Ok here's what I need help with.

I was looking through some old Commands. I found "cc_set_sub_weapon dev_gm_spear" but never test it out.

So I tested it. I saw the "U.S. GM Spear" is not a secondary weapon, but a Lann weapon... Twin Spears.

I want to know how to set that weapon to my primary instead of sub... I've tried "cc_set_weapon dev_gm_spear", "cc_set_primary_weapon dev_gm_spear", and "cc_set_main_weapon dev_gm_spear". all failed.

So if you know how to set primary weapons let me know.

Sorry, but as far as I know, you can't equip a non-subweapon item with console commands like that. Then again, I may not know much!

No, i mean, yeah of course the "cc_set_sub_weapon dev_gm_spear" worked.
As far as i know though, you can't take 'dev_gm_spear' and equip it to your weapon slot with a command, which is what you were trying to do with "cc_set_weapon dev_gm_spear", "cc_set_primary_weapon dev_gm_spear", and "cc_set_main_weapon dev_gm_spear", right? D/w we don't need a screenshot to see that "cc_set_sub_weapon dev_gm_spear" works.

And as far as I know commands like cc_set_main_weapon and cc_set_primary_weapon dont exist!!

idk it exist or not, I couldn't find those commands either, so why not try it ._.

As far as I know ,I think it's just for show and if it were possible to get gm spears you will stick out like a sore thumb.What I mean by this is you will get a nice quick suprise in the form of a perm ban,so be carefull what you wish for it might not be pretty.

Yes, they are dangerous, but it's possible to give yourself the item through a long process of accessing dev and gm commands. It's one of the many test items in the game, along with the fabled "lucky 150 ring".

They aren't a secondary at all, as x1productions proved to us with his thread destroying post.

I missed the shots, too.
But, from there we know that it's possible access the additem commands, somehow. I have a friend with 300+ goddess graces, a luck ring, +10 weapons and armor, and 4000 merc potions. His friend knows how to do it, but won't share, so he gave the friend his account.

So do you guys think there is a way to use the gm spears?
