HFS Filesize discrepancy

Select all files in folder and archive. Don't archive the folder.

Using the permanent bind thread as a guide, I get the hfs converted to zip, do my editing and double check to make sure everything is correct. I go to convert it back, it works and I replace the hfs.

Fire up the game to a black screen. I go back to check the hfs file and I see that the file size is about 9kb (82 to 91) more than the file I originally had (gohans).

I'm not really sure why the file size increases when converting back nor why the game hangs before the login screen. Any help?

Same problem here.
The original *.zip file is 80,1 kb but cant seem to get that same size with either 7Zip nor Winrar 4.00 ... tried dif compresion ratios but cant seem to get that exact file size.

What I was doing was archiving the folder itself.

After selecting all the files IN the folder and archived them that way, the filesize was correct.

I was indeed compressing just the files, not the folder, and got scared after i read your post, but just realiced the original *.hfs file and other "tuned" ones also had different size.
...so as they use to say: "size doesnt matter", at least in this case
