Yeah, we do need a prize. And it does need to be advertised wider, particularly in general, the "MPGHChan" section.

Problem is people aren't made of money, and Dave can't be bothered giving us VIP because he is from Israel.

That being said, the only prizes that could be offered are premium gfx packs...which take time to compile.

That can't be the only prizes we can offer, I'm sure we can think of something.

Since there's VIP again you could add it as Prize.
Just having the 'Reward' in your Signature is quite cool aswell

I never said here that i did care for a prize? Otherwise, I would have instantly join the contest ethereal was hosting. I'm only stating my opinions (or options) to making the SOTW more "bigger".

Anyway yeah to get more people to join there would need to be a prize because most of the regulars won't join because they don't even make tags that frequently the make one like every month and a half
And I also agree that they're should be more advertising like how nextgen got a bunch of guys that have never visited the section to go and visit to vote for him or whoever they thought was better

I used to post threads about SOTW in every major section. It got a shit load of entries for SOTW, and made giving out vip worthwhile. But activity in ther GFX section dropped so I stopped doing SOTW. I guess now that we have VIP and activity has picked up a bit, we could start advertising SOTW in other sections. If there are more entries then Dave might have a change of heart and see SOTW as something more worthwhile.

I say we do what we did ages ago. Stick with the Tags you got for winning the SOTW.
