I like #2 cause it looks anime

I'm going to go with #2, even though it looks like it was made in paint. The texture on the brushing's nearly completely lost.

However, it's not as depressing and it's more colorful. The first one has a depressing mood and the sense that the girl's a victim, while the second makes you think more of innocence.

i think there's too much white, and there is a white outline on the hair of the render/anime chick

i know. that is called an outer glow

I like the one you are using in your sig than the other 2. It looks more lively then the other two, the other two looks sad and emo.

meh, choices. my current sig is the one i like the most :O thanks for the opinions tho, they will help me improve greatly

Actually I find your current one the best

The first one. The second one is certainly more vibrant, but I like the subdued atmosphere of the first. It's just only my preference, but I could see how others would choose the second one.
