Shaders And Blood
Ive been pondering this for a couple days now, but never had enough time to post a thread in between helping people with Harolds bypass. I was thinking however, what is the file that controls how long blood and decals stay visible? In most games this information is in a .ini file somewhere but i cant seem to find it.
As for shaders, has anyone been able to turn shadows and stuff to High? Mine wont go anywhere from OFF. I was also thinking they probably wont let you turn them on until later on, but you know how we are, we like to have our things NAO! Any way to turn them on?

Yes it really does. take a look at the CA website and watch the trailer. They have shadows enabled and it looks really good. Reminds me of ghost recon.
go to Nexon/Combatarms/profiles and open player in notepad and turn shaders and blood from 0 to 1
OMG the only place i didnt look. Ok im gonna try this out. Thanks. Also i noticed something that says Vehicle Contour. Could this be a hint of vehicles to make an appearence later on?
CA uses some version of the Lithtech engine, so the vehicles bit is probably just some legacy junk. But who knows what the future holds
someone change it to 0 and start the game and see what happens
Ok well i turned gore to 1, nothing really changed that i could notice, shadow detail was at 2, changed it to 1, nothing really changed, im about to try 3. I wish we could get a trainer that lets you select the shadows level like how we have the buy anything hack.

Maybe, but im not sure if 10 would be a proper value...
It doesn't really work, when I tried changing the gore value way back like in open beta, the game just edited it back from 1 to 0.
It doesn't change anymore, but i cant notice a difference anyway.
