Hello!!
In this post i'll learn to the newbie players of crossfire the are the ranks of weapon and how it affect the weapon


The rank is the weapon quality, and it affect the weapon by adding accuracy,power,ammo,and fire, and it decrease the weight and recoil time...


The ranks are 10 :
(Ps the 1st of the list is the more weak and the last is the more strong)

1. Normal
2. Knife
3. Advance
4. Custom
5. Camo
6. Silver
7. Scope
8. Gold
9. Red / Red Dragon
10. Crystal
11. Custom Crystal
    

The ranks affects

Normal

The normal gears are the more weaks of the game, because same of the name say, those are normals so haven't any custom part make this more strong.
Some normals gears same M16A2 or AK74AU can be defined "semi camo", because those have 50% of effects of the camo (that i'll write later), so for example if camo add 10 power, M16A2 have about 5 more power than M16, but it doesnt have military look same of camo.
Those can be bought by GP (Game Points) or win in the BM (BlackMarket).

Knife

There is only 1 weapon knife, the AK47-Knife, and it's 100% same of AK47 normal but with a knife can be used with the mouse right click, it can be bought by zp or coupon and i 100% unsuggest because you can buy a AK47 100% same of the AK47-Knife but without knife (nearly useless) for about 40000 GP

Advance

The advance gears are yellow/brown, and can be bought from zp, by couponds or win in the BM.
Those aren't recommended to buy by zp or couponds because from the normal change :

• More accuracy
• No noise (those are silencied)
• Lower power than the normal gear
• More ammo
• Sometimes lower time than normal gear for reload (like 0.5 sec)

so arent so stronger than the normals gears


Custom

The custom gear are same of the normal in the look (Black/Grey),
and can be bought by zp,coupond or win in the BM. There is only a gear custom, the M4A1-C
The M4A1-Custom have those change from the normal:

• More accuracy
• No noise (silenced)
• More ammo
• Lower weight

Same of advance it's not recommended to be bought by zp or couponds

Camo

The camo gears have military look, have crosshair (that only zoom),can be bought by zp, couponds or win in the BM and can be definite "power gears".
The camo gears change so from the normals:

• Much more power
• Same or lower accuracy
• More ammo
• Faster reload
• Same weight or more
• Faster fire

Those are recommended for who know play with power gears with low accuracy
Silver

The weapon silver are silver (Captain Obvious ),can be bought only from BP (Bonus Points, you get this when you buy zp, you get 10% of zp for example you buy 10000 zp you get about 900-1100 bp), there are only 2 gears silver, m4a1 silver and ak47 silver that dont get same affects
M4A1-S affects are :

• More accuracy
• More power (only some)
• No noise (silencied)
• Lower weight (nearly 0 weight )
• Faster reload
• More ammo
• Faster fire

The AK47-S affects are:

• More power
• More accuracy (only some)
• Lower weight
• Faster reload
• Faster fire
• More ammo

I suggest to buy 1st M4A1-Silver than AK47-Silver, and try get AK47-Scope with the zp ^^
Scope


The weapon scope are black (the ak47 scope is black and red), with crosshair (of ak47 scope only zoom, of desert eagle scope is same of DSR-1 but make 50% only of zoom that make), and there are only 2 gears scope (DE-Scope and AK47-Scope)
The affects to the gears scope are:

• More accuracy
• More power
• More ammo
• More fast firing
• Lower weight
• More fast recoil

Those are suggested to who dont like spray

Gold



The weapon are gold (again Captain Obvious ),have a amazing accuracy and a lot of power, are many rare and there are only 3 gears golds (Desert Eagle-Gold , M4A1-Gold and AK47-Gold)
The affects to the weapon golds are:

• Amazing accuracy (i think the best accuracy of the gear is of M4A1-Gold)
• Many power
• Faster firing
• Lower weight
• More ammo
• Faster recoil

Red / Red Dragon


There are 2 gears red, Scarlight R.D and PSG-Red and 1 gear Red Dragon, the AWM-R.Dragon (the gears Red and Red Dragon are 100% same, but the red gears are red and the awm red dragon is red with a image of dragon and a eye of dragon in the crosshair). Those can be winned in the BM or bought by couponds.
The affects of red/red dragon gears are:

• Much more power
• More accuracy
• More ammo
• Lower weight
• Faster firing
• Faster recoil

Crystal

The crystal gear is heavenly, there is only 1 crystal gear (M4A1-Crystal),and it can be bought by couponds (80)
The affects to the crystal gear are

• More power
• More accuracy
• No Noise (Silencied)
• More ammo
• Faster firing
• Lower weight

Custom Crystal

The M4A1 Custom Crystal can be getted by have 20 ribbons, it's 100% same of the M4A1 Crystal with crosshair (same of m4a1 custom) and some more accuracy

The Type of gears
There are 8 type of gears

1. Assalt
2. Sub Machine Guns
3. Sniper Rifles
4. Machine Guns
5. Pistols (Secondary Guns)
6. ShortGun
7. Trown (Bombs)
8. Melee (Edged weapons)

Assault Guns

Those are the normals primary guns with bilanced stats. I suggest this to the more experts.

Sub Machine Guns

Those are the guns with the faster firing but lower power. I suggest this to the newbies.

Machine Guns

Those are the guns with many ammo. I suggest this only for Hero Mode (HM) and Zombie Mode (ZM)

Short Gun

Those are the power gears kill also with 1 bullet but have short range.

Sniper Rifle

Those are the guns kill from very longs range usually with 1 hit in the chest or head but with slow firing.

Pistol (Secondary Weapon)

The pistol (secondary weapon), are usually used when finish the primary weapon ammo or when using a sniper.

Trow (Bombs)

The trow be used like a pre-fire

Melee (Edged weapons)

The melee weapons are the primary gears of the ghost, and infact are only sometimes used eccept in GM

Weapon hit for kill (only gp not of blackmarket)

Grenade - Primary grenade, throw and explodes. What more is there to say?
Smoke Grenade - Thrown and creates a cloud of smoke. If a ghost is standing still around the smoke you will be able to see them.
Flash Grenade - Thrown and blinds the other team, but be careful you can blind yourself and your team mates.
Knife - A stab and slash weapon, used for close combat, and mainly backup or a last resort. Ghost use it as a weapon.
Axe – A chop weapon, used for close combat usually first position. Ghost can use this weapon.
Field shovel- a whack slash weapon use in the field to plant mine and very powerful in combat.

Top Assault Rifles


Get an M4A1 IF: You like to rush and snipe at the same time. It has decent damage, but the accuracy is so good you can counter an AWM if you wanted. It's rate of fire is great, not too fast or too slow. Overall get this weapon if you don't feel like leveling up to get a Scar Light, or if your just an all around person and need a gun that does it all.


Get an Ak 74/47 IF: You prefer power over accuracy. The Ak 47/74 are two great weapons that really have no difference, just that the 47 has more power and recoil. You can nail people pretty great up front and medium is decent, but don’t always get too over confident and try nabbing at someone with a more accurate gun such as an m4 or scar light, because I can guarantee the recoil will kick in at about 3 shots and they’ll end up headshot ting you pretty quick. it’s a good gun to rush with because its power will always bring down its opponents like a lawn mower cutting down grass. Overall, this is recommended if you like to rush and confront your opponents upfront. I recommend getting the 74 variant, because for the average player it has less recoil and will help more when it comes to aim, but if you want go ahead and go for the 47, it’s the best if you can handle it.

Get a Scar Light IF: You’re an all around player. This gun is very similar to the M4A1, except it exceeds it in damage. It is one of the most used guns in the game and it is highly recommended if you want the best gun as some people say, in the game. It has really good accuracy, really good damage, and a great rate of fire. You can jump with this assault rifle and still be extremely accurate. I recommend this gun a lot, but due to the high rank, a lot of players turn it down without even looking at it. So if you are the right rank and have enough GP, go for this gun.

Get a Scar Heavy IF: You like the Ak 47/74’s damage and cannot get the Light variant. This gun is slightly worse then its sister, but its really decent. Only trouble is it slows you down considerably in turn for more damage. I wouldn’t recommend buying this gun if you need damage because the ak can do more damage and is lighter, so this gun isn’t entirely ideal for the noob. Either way, pretty decent gun so its worth looking at.

Get a QBZ IF: You want something very similar to the scar light, with more damage power, and less weight, for a lower rank. This is a great gun., and again its all around, so you can rush with it, you can camp and snipe, or you can just have mid range fire fights. This gun is great, overall and I highly recommend you look into this as an alternative for the Scar Light.


SMG's
Get and Mp5 IF: You want a weapon that has a fast rate of fire and good damage, up front with alot of ammo. This gun packs a punch. Really reccomended for those who like to camp and rush alot.

Get a P90 IF: you use SMG's alot. If you rush alot this gun has alot of ammo, 100/100 i beleive. So you won't have to stop rushing just for reloading and end up dieing. You can get more kills and reload later, and when you run out simply pull out a pistol and finish the job.

Sniper Rifles:

Get an AWM IF: You want 100% damage, and 100% accuracy. This gun in MOST places is a 1 hit KO. Get this gun if you never want to miss, or only partially wound your enemy. This gun will slow you down, but the accuracy and damage outweigh the need for speed. *HIGHLY RECCOMENDED*

Keep your M700 IF: You want a really fast sniper rifle. You can kill people in the head with one shot, and most of the body is 2 hit ko. This rifle is recommended along with the AWM because it is for the speed demons who have good aim at the same time.

Pistols:

Deagle: Used by most of the players in the game, it has a 7 round clip and it is extremely accurate and provides great damage. Get this gun if your going to rush a lot, because I have owned whole teams with just a deagle, so this is the most used pistol in the game based on people’s opinion. Get this gun because it has a good rate of fire, good clip, and decent damage.

Colt Anaconda: Most people will bash on this gun, but its truly amazing. It requires an expert to use, and me having experience with one, this gun is extremely solid. It’s accuracy is slightly higher than deagle, but it has a 6 round chamber, so if you need more bullets, reload often. This gun is on par with the deagle if you know how to use it, but if you rather not die a lot in a pistol fight, don’t get this if you can’t handle it, its just like an Ak compared to an M4.

P228: A great pistol for new comers. Really fast rate of fire, 1 hit headshots, and a really big clip. I recommend this gun if you can aim really good and want to unleash hell on your opponents.

Shotguns:

XM104: This is my personal preference over the Spas 12. It has a smaller spread, but I prefer that because it means more bullets land on the target. It is lighter so you can run around faster, and the rate of fire is faster. So overall, this gun is better than the spas 12 in my opinion and it is ideal for ghost mode, and it will be decent for the upcoming zombie mode, or if you play the other versions of crossfire.

Heavy Machine Guns:

M60: most people will look at this gun and turn away. This gun is a beast waiting to unleash its flames upon its opponents. 200 bullets is sufficient for the average player, and its rate of fire is decent. This gun is very heavy, thus slowing you down. The recoil is huge so you probably can’t even do mid range. This gun requires a pro. This gun is actually easy if you know how to use it. For me, it is great to Snipe across a map because I don’t have to worry about reload and the first shot is just as accurate is an awm so, if you can aim well, I recommend this gun. Other wise, don’t even bother.
