What tool do you use?
I am not looking to make a sig for anyone or myself. I am just looking to make a picture. Probably a wide pic, of Halo and Mass effect split down the center with Arbiter and Master Cheif on the Halo side, and Garrus and his reflection or ghost... fade of him, on the other side, I guess.... I'm not that great at drawing on paper, so I hope I have at least some skill on a computer. But I need the program that all you people use. Is it Fireworks? MSPaint? And what ever it is, do you have to pay for it?
I use Adobe Photoshop CS5. You can go the route of pirating it like most, but i bought my version.
How large is the program, and how much does it cost? Also, what are... the features (I'm not really sure what else to ask about it.) What makes it so good? Also, what do you think of my idea? Will I be able to pull it off with my no-skill talents? And how long do you think it'd take? I'm guessing a week...

My copy cost around $300.
Pirating it is free, but i like to support companies that make amazing products so why take that from them?
I'm on the website right now (Tabs FTW) and I see there is a trial version.... Apperantly it includes everything in the normal Photoshop CS5 Extended, and is free.... Any idea how long it is though? It doesn't say, but I'm guessing 30 days like most trials... Should I go for the trial?
of course you should get the trial version first, thats why it is there, so you can get a taste and see by yourself if it is good for you or not.
Yes its 30 days, and yes everyone interested in Photoshop should use the trial. By the time the 30 days is up and it asks you to purchase, you will be more than familiar with it, and you will be more comfortable deciding whether or not to purchase it.

[EDIT:] Ok, This is odd... When you download the Adobe download assistance, install the adobe download assistant. Photoshop is not in the list of trials... It's the only one in there that I actually want a trial on.... Damn you Adobe. Damn you.

if you "accidentally" add 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com to your hosts file and type in 1330-1803-8387-7367-5435-5840 as the serial, it will become permanent =3
