just uninstal cf anf reinstal crossfire man

Try reinstalling game again...sure it might work..

Download the *NEW* Crossfire from the z8games website..uninstall the old one and install the new one!

Also for future reference, this "******" Modified error is usually due to modding.

just reinstall the game or try 10 times to join the game
