How to Inject .REZ Mods

Injecting .REZ Mods is very easy once you learn how to. This tutorial will (hopefully) teach you how to inject .REZ mods. If it doesn't, Feel free to drop me a PM or a VM, And I'll answer your questions. ^_^

So, You've found a cool mod you want to use, But, It's not like the normal REZ files where you just copy into the Combat Arms Game folder, It's a DTX or a LTB... Well, The first thing you'll need is a program called RezInject. (Black Angel Software, All rights Reserved) RezInject is a simple program that will inject these DTX and/or LTB files into your REZ file. An often question is, "Which file do I inject it to?" Well, It depends on the mod it is. Say, For example, I wanted had a mod, A DTX file, for my Assault Rifle. I would inject it into "GUNS_T_PV_AR.rez". ("AR" stands for Assault Rifle) DTX files inject into "GUNS_T..." files, And LTB files inject into "GUNS_M...". Another example might be, You have a mod for your M9, (Knife) It's a LTB, You'd inject it into, "GUNS_M_PV_Melee.rez". There's another KEY factor in injecting REZ mods, Backing up and renaming. Backing up and renaming is as simple as it sounds. After you inject, You'll want to back up the original REZ file in a safe place where you won't accidentally delete it. (In case you feel like going legit)
After that, You'll need to rename the new REZ file. The new REZ file will be named the same name as the original, But with a "New" at the end. So, If you were injecting a mod for your Sniper Rifle, A DTX file, The new REZ file after you injected would be named "GUNS_T_PV_SR.rezNew". Combat Arms, Is programmed to read "GUNS_T_PV_SR.rez", Not "GUNS_T_PV_SR.rezNew" So delete that "New" off the end, And launch Combat Arms! Your mod should be working!
