Leader board system

I think that's utter bullshit. I think it's a bad thing for us hackers. It is probably just another method to catch hackers.

And another thing, I loled at all those updates for the maintenance, they just kept adding more time. I just thought that was funny in my opinion.

Perhaps. Now that that's in place, they can properly track stuff.

Not that they couldn't do it before, but I think this is the first step into an actual integrated system on banning hackers.

Well this seriously sucks, and the Leader board system got 1% of the votes for "What would you most like to see added in Vindictus" or something like that.

but..... maybe just maybe its like the NMService.exe which has to be on for friendlist to appear

LOL Nexon does, obviously. It's clearly meant to track cheating activity. And it's a new gameplay feature, all rolled into one. Pretty smart design.

so how does it work?

I'm not entirely sure on how it works, but I think it's similar to the Guild Ranking system or perhaps there is a sign somewhere in Colhen or Rocheste which shows the top players. And you could also check your own rank under your character menu, but perhaps they'll just be checking that for hacking evidence.

The ranking system checks the levels you gain, battles cleared, stories completed, AP used, titles obtained, and many other things. And it tells you your daily, weekly, and monthly records.

We have to watch out.

Who knows? Maybe they will.

just one more thing is it just me or was there a whole shit load of stuff added in this update... i'm thinking they are uuber desperate to keep their player base or something because like a few months ago weren't they close to shutting down?
