As my first contribution...

Would you guys find a program like this useful?

It would provide a few things.

• Mod update checking
• Automatic mod updating *will have to figure this out*
• Mod organization
• Ability to download working mods in-app
• Ability to launch installed mods
• Ability to enable/disable mods

I would basically be a "management" tool.

the other option is a much more in depth console command app that categorizes commands, etc for you guys to use.

Which to do! its up to you guys, and what you want.

The mod one, theres already a tool that categorizes commands etc.

auto mod updates are allowed? i thought there was a rule against those O.o

Talked in vind group, it can be changed to a update nofication. auto updates would of been for mods in which their creators gave permission to auto update them when the app would be loaded.

oh alright wasn't here for the convo lol i thought the site owner had a rule against them, someone made somethin taht auto updated and it was immediately closed i think, might be thinkin of a diff site though o.o

Auto updates are dangerous, because you can release a great tool, then in the next version, upload a crypted RAT/stealer/keylogger to your filehost that your program caches from, and then voila, next version you infected people.
