Ipod app hacking basics

Hi,

this tutorial will show you how to hack an ipod application from the ipod or on the computer.

you will need:

-ipod
-ifile (if your using the ipod to hack)
-ifunbox (if you are using PC)
-a brain
-doodle jump (test subject)

ipod/iphone hacking is really easy once you know the basics. The method i will be using today will be called "hexing" it involves changing one or more pieces of code in a program to make it function how you want it to.

1. open ifile or ifunbox
2. locate your doodle jump folder
3. go to /doodlejump.app/prefrences
4. There are a few files there i cant remember which one but once i descibe it you should be able to know.
5.scroll down until you see (blah blah "highscore">(whatever your high score was)< and change it to another number such as 1000000000
6. exit the program and launch doodle ump and go to the highscore the score should be the number you typed in if done properly.
7. experiment with other apps
