For future reference, hacking a site is literally tweaking or making slight changes to it's executable code(or server-side code) to experiment. Today the meaning has changed. Commonly what it is known as is altering code within the target, or tricking it into doing what you want it do to. You did neither of these. What you did is called "Changing a password."
