I know I'm supposed to use the search function but when I do nothing comes up or I'm searching it wrong.

Bandisoft MPEG-1 Decoder, it is used to help decode video files.

does it do anything to me if i run and install this?

No, the game probably already installed it for you, if your game works fine, leave it alone.
