I don't get it, it's not working. I restarted my computer, and the same error is happening. I can't even delete my minecraft.jar is running on another program or something.
What is running it? I checked Task Manager, and Minecraft isn't running.
Edit : It said that it was running in Skype after I re-clicked it. I was able to delete it, but when I logged off of Skype, it said "Invalid Pointer Type" or something, is it a virus?
1. un-install skype and minecraft (back-up worlds)
2.Use Malawarebytes Anti-Malaware
3. Use your Virus scanner do a full scan
4. Do a System Defrag with Auslogistics Disk Defrag
5. Come back too me
There are a bunch of possibilities which have to do with your problem, it could be a virus, system error, spyware, malaware... etc. So if you do all of those things I am sure it will fix what ever your problem is and probably more, since it is good to do that every month or week!
A virus...?
Would be a pretty strange one (hacks skype through Minecraft or what?) this looks glitched or something but idk
have u checked if the java process is still open not just minecraft.exe (java=minecraft)
a temporary solution would be a unlocker or something
maybe u sent ur minecraft.jar t a friend via skype and he didnt recieve it
(got a similar problem a few minutes ago -> solved through canceling the transmission of the file in skype)
Download malware bytes asap.
Do a full system scan and make sure everythings good.
Also run some anti-virus's
Don't bump week old posts >_>
I think it's a process.
Go to your task manager, go to processes and find the Java Process that is running and close it.
