This one may be more complex to do, but it works 100% of the time. For me. The first thing you need to do is join a game. Hard eh? The 2nd thing you need to do is press Alt+Tab which makes you switch between windows(Crossfire Window, Desktop, or anything else you may have open). Sometimes when i try to use the Alt+Tab thingy, I need to have something open, like Firefox or Google Chrome so I recommend you doing that as well. 3rd thing you need to do is go to your desktop while you're IN GAME using the Alt+Tab trick or whatever you want to call it. Now, I have no idea how to do this in other versions of Windows besides Windows 7 and Vista.Sorry XP users . When you finally reach your desktop, right click it and choose "Screen Resolution". Choose the highest. In my case, 1440x900 and click "Apply"
After you do all that, you should have CF in window mode. There's only
1 flaw. As you can see it's on the top left corner. You can't change the position...
There's one good advantage too! You get extra frames per rate (FPR-5-15 or even more)!!
You don't need to do all that work :|
You just go to CF setting and choose it, when you're in game
p/s: i think that this should be in CF tutorials
Should be in Tutorial Section but good job
He means something different, that windowed mode is outside in-game of CF. What he's portraying is how to put it on windowed while IN-GAME. Normally crossfire no matter if you are on windowed mode, will go into full screen mode when you are in-game... Well here is a way to do it in windowed mode.
alot of people should know this by now but nice post anyways. pictures wouldove made the post a little better deservering a thanks good job
