Modding Weapon Damage

I was wondering whether I can change the weapon damage and accuracy by coding for PC
I was also wondering if I do mod the damage, will it work online?

I think the best you can do is just modding the gun to shoot another item like a rocket and I'm not sure if they patched it or not but you used to be able to change the weapon clip size..
