Maplestory Leveling Guide (fastest results)
Introduction:
What's up guys its Xypher94, here to help you out with all things Maplestory-related. This guide is going to be a very simple tool that shows you where and how to level up with the most efficiency. This is going to be geared for leveling as fast as possible, ie getting to level 120 in under a week. I use this for all of my characters, most of which are at 4th job, and it applies to all classes (besides clerics, I'll post a little something at the end for our healers). To make the guide as complete as possible, I will be posting videos showing how to get to each location. The videos are not made by me.
Level 1-10:
Just follow the beginning quests until you are level 10, it shouldn't take long. Make your 1st job advancement.
Level 10-13:
Do the quests from your job instructor. You get exp and potions as a reward (these should be somewhat useful).
Level 13-18:
Go over to Blue-Ribbon Pigs in Nautalus and grind these bad boys until level 18. Should be extremely fast exp.
Level 18-20 (optional):
Go to your instructor and get the quest to kill andras, or something of the sort, and get your helm. The quest gives you enough exp to get to level 20 and takes all of 5 minutes. There is a different version of this quest for each class in maplestory, this video shows the one for warriors.
Level 20-30:
Head on over to NLC. Take the taxi to the haunted mansion and go to skeletons. They are easy to kill and give 74 exp each. Stay here until level 30.
Sometimes it doesn't let you use the subway to get there until level 30 (I experienced this when I made a mercedes. I don't know if it is just for that class or if they made it like that for all classes. In this case just go to mixed golems in henesys.
Level 30-37:
I HATE mushroom kingdom. It is entirely boring and really not that fast. Instead, we are going to go to kerning square and destroy iced teas or mannequins. Just go to Kerning City subway and take the subway to kerning square.
Level 37-42:
Go to the top of Kerning Square and just train on CD's.
Level 42 - 55:
After CD's you can go to scarecrows in NLC. You get here the same way you get to Rotting Skeletons, you just need to go up one level.
For those of you with crowded servers like Windia or Scania, here is an alternative. Go to white fangs in El Nath in Ice Valley III.
Level 55-70:
For this just go to Twisted Jesters in NLC. You have two options. You can go to the main room which always has like 3 or more people in it unless you are on a world like Arcania. It is right above scarecrows. If that is too populated, there is a slightly less populated room. Here is a video how to get to the second, less populated room.
If this is still crowded, you can always go to robos in Ludibrium. These have good spawn and give around 220 exp each.
Level 70-78:
Just continue training on Twisted jesters, it is really your best option. If you are on a more crowded world, try going to sand rats and scorpions in magatia.
Level 78-86:
If you can set a channel at the main Twisted Jester Map, keep training there. Most likely, you won't be able to, so train on Iron, then mithril mutaes. They are found by going to Alcadno's Research lab in Magatia.
Level 86-110:
The absolute best place to train for these levels in mp3. However, if you are in a crowded world, this place will be PACKED and it will be impossible to get a free channel. Also, level 100-110 sucks really bad. It takes forever, but hey, just push through it. Here is a faster way to get from mp3 from singapore that most people don't know. It saves quite a bit of time.
If you can't do mp3 because your world is to crowded, just go to roids from level 86-100. This is also in Alcadno's Research lab, just like iron mutea. And is that Dreamer's familiar 1-hit KO? lol anyway...
Level 100-110
If mp3 and roids are just killing you, try going to Captain and Kru in Herb Town. These give decent exp and are much less crowded than mp3.
Level 110-200
LHC...nuff said. If you can at level 110, try to get a party. If you have a guild or friends, this helps a lot.
As promised, here is the alternate guide for clerics/preists
Level 30-35:
Rotting Skeletons
Level 35-50:
Scarecrows
Level 50-85:
Twisted Jesters
Level 85-110:
Mp3
Level 110-120:
LHC
If you can find a channel all to yourself as a cleric, just sit there and spam heal. You can do this at an early level and still get kills on much higher level monsters. Once you are a priest, everyone will want to party you to get HS, so finding maps will not be hard at all. I got from level 85 to 140 in 2 days on my bishop, although it was during a 2x weekend event. It shouldn't be hard for you healers out there to make a high level class. I only did it as an HS mule. They are also fantastic for getting into lhc parties and zakum runs. My main character, however, is my night lord, because hanging on a rope in LHC is boring as hell.
Anyway, I hope you all found this guide helpful to you. If you want to be one of the first level 120 demon slayers in GMS, I recommend following this. The alternative training spots will also be useful, since every map will probably be crowded as hell. Good luck to all! ^^
