[Suggestion] Edit Requests

So, everyone who's been here for more than a couple days knows that you can't edit your posts after twenty four hours of posting it (assuming you're not staff). You can private message an upper staff member to edit your posts for you, but that generally has a low response time and is a lot of effort. What if after twenty four hours of making your post, you could still click the edit button and rewrite the message but when you submitted it it would say something like "Edit Pending Approval!" and would have it moved to a queue similar to the file attachment queue and unapproved thread queue. Would take a bit of work to code probably (as it's unlikely there's any addon like this) but it seems like it could be really useful. Naturally, the queues would be section specific just like file attachments and gmods can approve edits from all sections.

Updates mostly. Like, if you have a big release thread and want to add more information. Just stuff like that. I don't know why really, but it's a common complaint that you can't edit your post after 24 hours, so people clearly would have a use for it. Also adding a poll.

Thread tools > add poll. Can be done. Dunno if this feature would be all that useful, imagine the amount of spam that would ensue...

Well, it would count as a forum action (if not a mod cp action). I really doubt the staff would mind Also, that option isn't there for me. Maybe it's a minion+ thing?

Dunno what's the time period that allows you to add the poll though, that wasn't done that far apart
