Color on guns

Hey, i was wondering how i can get the white color to show on a gun. @Divine did it, but wont tell me :O So any help how i could get white, or a white color to actually show when overlayed..?

Layer style : Normal
Color : White
Problem solved.

But it ends up looking weird..

It was a joke, play around with different layer styles until you find something that you like. Divine won't tell you because he wants you to find out what you like for yourself, which in the end is better for you.
