PS3 E3 flasher installaion

well yea my ps3 is a model cech 2001b, which mean my mother board looks like this http://www.ps3devwiki.com/images/6/6d/JSD-001_SideA.png
is there a way to install the ribbon cable because i only ever saw a video when the nor chip facing the other direction ????/ plz help, cause i dnt wanna waiste my money for no reason

@vietboy, According to the model list you have a 250GB PS3 slim that is downgrade able to firmware 2.70 so you are able to install an E3 Flasher, so all you have to do know is look around for the right tutorial that will teach you how mate.

downgraded my ass !!!! i cant even get pass step 2 which is make a back up.... only flashes 2 5 6 start blinking ..... according to other people it meant the flasher wasnt on correctly i tried to put it on the right like 5 times and appearently its still not on correctly !!!!!

Sony never meant for it to be easy, but try and look at every angle and see where the problem could be occurring. It might be something simple.

i pressed soo hard on it man, it doesnt click or anything, ik it has to be on right, but apearently it isnt... for some reason i do hear little crackles in my ps3 for some reason ? like once every day.... bt any way this is imposssible man... i have a samsung nor btw.

I'll see how my finances go this week and order that parts needed for downgrading and I'll try to help you out further, but for now there's only so much help I can give with just my moderate understanding of the issue and any technical problems that may be involved, also that crackling sound is something you should look into as it could cause damage to your console.

make sure it has a nor lol..... and make sure, and i mean make sure you becareful, kuz im thinking i may hav damage my ribbon cable thats y its not working... idk
