Can you break down Rep for me?
I added to someones Rep with a nice little comment to boot, but their Rep didn't increase. How do i get more Rep and how does it show when i Rep someone else?
I think you need a certain amount of posts before you can give out rep, I'm unsure what that value is right now (it used to be around 100). I hope you refreshed the page to check if the rep changed because it won't change otherwise (at least not for me when using Chrome). Whoever gets repped can view who repped him and the reason in their User CP, however I don't think one can view to whom he has given rep in the past.
The amount of influence you giving out reputation has depends on how much reputation you actually have. New users with 10 reputation do not have any influence. I, as of posting this, have 322 rep and an influence of 14 (I give users 14+ rep when repping them). 322 divided by 14 would be 23 (I assume maybe every 20 points is +1 to your reputation influence), and after repping you you have 24 rep. Perhaps you may give users +1 rep now? There may actually be some kind of minimum you need, I'm not exactly sure.
