BF2 special forces HELP

hey i juss bought battlefield2 and then i got the 1.41 patch for it and it worked fine all was swell then i thought ok i need a challege so i bought the BF2 Special Forces expansion pack after some hard labour i finaly got it installed then now i got in it and it says somthing like i need to delet then patch or somthing like the server (meaning all the servers) doesnt allow modified profiles.i rele need some help plz
P.S plz help me becuse since the game is opened i cant return it so im fucked

Are you sure 1.41 is the most updated patch for Battlefield2 without the expansion pack?

Well, it was an idea, I don't ever play BF2. I'm not 100% sure what the problem is yet, but I'll do some research and get back to you soon.

hey magik i didnt try what you said but i did do alot of trial and error i uninstalled it then reinstalled it so everything would start from the begining and then it didnt do anything so i fuond a patch for special forces this time instead of the original BF2 and well to my suprise it didnt do jack shit so then i uninstalled it then reinstalled it once again now im all up for suggetions anyone!
P.S now it says i dont have the same version as the other ppl so maybe theres another patch that im not knowing about
