Steam Error? Help pl0x?

have you mixed any hacks or non steam files into your steam directory? i suggest a clean up of all valve games/steam and a fresh reinstallation.

I never used any hacks.
I got the steam account just thursday.

It did that to me just reinstall steam and it will work. I just got banned for hacking when I wasn't even hacking. Is there some one I can talk to about unbanning me?
