[Tutorial] How to duplicate items (Working)

Not going to make a big deal out of this.

All you do, is that you get a tent, place the item into the tent, press ESC, and alt+f4 out of the game. Log back in, and you've got the item in the tent, and in your inventory/backpack.

Its ridiculous how easy it is to dupe items in this game

i randomly came across this however i didnt alt+f4 tho all i did is reconnect to the server ^^ duped quick x4 m4 cco sd

does this work in the 1.7.2.5 patch?

I wouldn't say so due to the new server hop/disconnect system. It might TP you to the coast..

True.. even though someone posted a fix to that bug I'm quoting:
OK guyZ seems the solution working is:

1. Manually download 1.7.2.5 (in case, dayz Updater has it already in the database for upgrade, six updater still don't)

2. Do THIS: Delete the folder of the curent profile you use in Day Z mod
(ex; C:\Users\Name\Documents\ArmA 2 Other profiles )
Don't be scared relaunching the game will re-craete your profile folder.

3. Launch the game via the root .exe folder (C:\Program Files ) // NOT VIA Six Updater or It will bug at loading screen!!!


TADAAAAA I'm at my 15th test; ALWAYS spawning exactly where I logged out! 2 hours gaming now. Full gear!!!

dont work for me.. im stuck @ loading screen what is the root.exe. and do i have to put the new dayz filde into arma 2 folder?

Not root.exe but root .exe!
Root is the folder where you can find the arma2oa.exe.
As example : "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead"
This can be different if you installed Steam in a different location or don't even use Steam.
