Actually if you don't suck at elimination, or any of the others(as in getting first through 4th place) you get up to 200-300 exp, and 300-400 gp. Spy hunt is actually the game that gives you the least exp unless you know what your doing. If you kill the super spy, you get like 100 exp and 200 gp. If you are the super spy... whoa your getting a lot either way, but you might want to win so you can get the most. If you just grab a lot of intel's and get kills that's great also and you might gain some exp and gp, but not as much as in the other modes.
EDIT: What's the point of tapping the super spy if you get reported by like half the people that were there? A GM will check on you, and if the report tends to be true you will be demoted/banned and then have no exp or gp. -.-
