Guys I need help?

Hey everyone. I guess this is probably in the wrong forum category but I couldn't find one for Unreal Tournament so I figured I would post in here. Anyway, I'm permanently banned on a server for 'team killing' and need help bypassing it. I got banned here when I was new to UT99 and somehow I got past it, I think it was because my computer crashed and everything was reset. A couple of days ago I accidentally joined the server with the name I was using when I first got banned and was instantly banned again, because obviously my name was on the blacklist. Ive tried contacting the admin but received no reply. Anyway, simply, I just wanna bypass the ban. People have told me to change my ip as that apparently always bypassses bans but i did just that and am still banned. I don't understand why, my dad said maybe the server has a radar that bans IPs in my particular area, or it's a hardware ban. I'm not sure, I really don't understand tech stuff, so can someone please explain to me why the IP change isn't working and how I can bypass it? I think it's unfair because I unintentionally teamkilled once, end of last year, and am still banned. Also, my friend who also got banned on that sever got past his ban because he moved cities. So does that mean it's an ip radar or something? I can't move cities so I don't know what to do. Please can someone help explain this to me and tell me how I can bypass it? IP changing should usually work but it's not working in my case! Also, no harsh replies and please use simple words because like I said, I don't exactly understand technology stuff/words so please break things down for me. I'm just a kid so I'm not that smart. Will a proxy help? And if so, how do I use it to connect to a game? All the tutorials I've watched only show how to use a proxy with a browser but ut99 doesn't work from a browser. I desperately need help! Please help me bypass! And don't say to ask somewhere else because this website is dedicated to hacks, bypassing included.
