I'm just using Comic Sans MS and lowering the opacity.

Open up the characters tab and fool around with the spacing settings and size.

I dunno, not really a fan of sprite's to begin with. The bg isn't too bad but the sprite is just way to hard to see, and barely acts as a focal. Lol..to hell with sprites. I would just stick to stock and renders. Btw, your current sig is pretty boss.
