I bet there's some section in NASA that's already accomplished creating a specialized dome to be placed on the moon, and simulate natural Earth conditions, preparing for an apocalyptic doom's day, in which a shuttle will be launched and a few of the human species will venture forth onto the new frontier to restart the complete life-cycle with an ultimate advantage over nearby organisms.
