Need help in hacking "Soldier Front"

Need help in hacking "Soldier Front"
Ok, the game which i would like to hack is "Soldier Front".

It is a new game and it is protected by Gameguard.
Ok, what i'm trying to do now is to edit some game files. (it would be a great help if you download the game too and help me)

I've found out this file inside C:\ijji\ENGLISH\u_sf\data\scr

It's filename is scr_001.sff

When i tried open it up with notepad, i can see some wierd characters, but i also can see some paragraphs and words in ENGLISH below the wierd characters.

i tried changing the values, and when the game starts after gameguard search, i tried to change from the default one to the modified one, and it seems fine. But when the game start, the map couldn't be loaded and it says an error in XFire which is to be reported.


What i'm asking now is that if we can hand-edit the files ourselves or maybe get a gameguard bypass or i need certain tools to just edit that value?

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

looks like you can edit some of those cordinates to move ppls positions but the other stuff ehh you couldn't do anything useful with it

i tried modifying the coordinates, but even if you edit 1 SINGLE coordination, the game wouldn't load the map and the whole game would hang...

Someone in ************ said he could easily edit the map coordinates...

Though i'm trying to get contact with him, anyone have any idea how to hack/bypass the checksum? (PS. best if u download the game, cause u will know the file structures)

I could probably do it easily with memory editing, editing files isn't too smart because you would have to disable all checksum checking on the client.
