Getting neighbors wifi password?

HUGE REQUEST

This requires a lot of work and is not easy. I understand. But if anyone can make a tutorial, or show how, that would be great.

And I do not plan to sneak into there house or give them cookies. Nor will I ask them kindly for it.

Anyway, if they are smart enough to change the default Wi-Fi password and not use wep. You wont get the password.

You wanna look into using the backtrack live cd.
I used to mess with this type of thing years ago.

Wep is simple enough to crack. Last time i checked, you only needed to collect about 10k packets.

Wpa on the other hand can take awhile. Depending on password strength.
All you really need to do is capture one packet once you're associated with the router.
You would also need to download a huge word list to brute force.

I wouldn't say its hard to do or alot of work. I mean you can get lazy and use a script someone has pre made.
I made myself an auto crack script so all i needed to do is choose the ssid from the list and it would configure my senao
card and crack the wifi.

Why would you want to if you have your own internet?

oclHashCat has a WPA pw cracker in it, the bruteforce speeds on that thing are amazing!

WPA is easier than WEP in my opinion. I use the same tools Hell_Demon mentioned, I use all of my neighbors wifi with wifi boosters to boost my Internet speed on occasion.
