What is with The New Mod keeps closing down my threads... TT

I post a transaction log that everyone asks for and he closes it...
i post hack and he closes it...

Didnt we talk about this yesterday. Your threads cause uneeded spam, just like this one.. Thats why I closed them. Get over it.

And Obama, if your complaining about spam, why did you leave this "spam" topic open? No offense, and if you have something against spam, EndRiT has just "spammed" this topic.

I'm not saying your doing a horrible job or anything, but please, if the thread is helpful, you leave it open, even if it DOES cause "unneeded spam". Any mod should know, if it helps, leave it open, because any person with half a brain knows, that a closed thread symbolizes that the thread has been deemed unhelpful. I know it's annoying to deal with spam, heck, I've been a mod for a forum of 150,000+ and delt with spam every day, I know what it's like, but you need to either delete each post you see fit that's just random spam, or you need to set a border line and enforce it.

If it comes to it, infract the spammers, but leave the thread open. I am not attacking you for closing each thread you deem not helpful/spam/useless, but you need to know, if you want things to work out, you need these thread open, or such "spam" topics like this will appear. Common sense needs to overcome stubbornness, and at the moment, you seem very stubborn.


If you REALLY want to enforce rules, post a topic, put every and/or all helpful threads that are stickied at the moment into one thread (As in display each link, and what not) and remove the stickies, then have a second stickie and post rules. Less shit to ignore, more room to show whats new, and you can also have more people look at the stickies rather than them just sit there with barely any post's.

Also, I think someone needs to delete a few of them as most are old, and not needed xD


But yeah, look at it from that point of view, and you'll be a great Mod and will be "admired" by all :P As a former mod, I do like to see others aspire to what they can actually be... Heck, I loved it when Gourav got GMod

That was a awesome post. I 100% agree with you. I've been a Mod on a 50K+ forum and I've also delt with spam. I merge same topics into one, All the stickies into one. It's easy

The people who moderate the forums will decide when a thread or post is moderated and why. It's as simple as that and there are usually reasons beyond what you'll see, it's inevitable. I for example am going to infract akila for his double post now, beings it's clearly for attention. I next assume Obama will close this thread but respect rather he does or not. I don't even acknolwedge suckups, personally but, comments like yours, fatemollama, don't help you either, wink.
