A text file can contain a virus' code but CANNOT be executed and is harmless in a genuine .txt format.

HOWEVER!

some viruses use double file extensions to trick users into opening a 'dangerous' filetype: eg .exe, .com (executable files)

lol I already had a backup before the patch. I always back up edited or replaced files in case something goes wrong. You should do the same.

BTW with the nx crosshair edit have you actually tried it or are you just guessing.

It didn't work. I guess technically if you hack and get something NX related you are treading on thin ice. I believe all NX is server side and in T&A section you are required to indemnify ne xx on for hacking them. so if u hack NX item you will get charged if caught, If you release a hack that 1000s of people use to hack NX items you will get F U C K E D if caught. Try to stay client side unless you have good lawyers.

Lol yerr. Well i have a new problem now. When i replaced the play.txt with my old i cant connect to the server. I repleced it with new one and i still cant connect. GRRRRR

no I was guessing on that part all of it is Guess work but its sound guessing when I first opened my player file and I saw the part about VehicleTurnRate and things like that its a pretty good guess that tanks,cars,jets inc are coming to the game and then low and behold you have to fight tanks in FireTeam/mission mode and the Cross hair is a guess to I tryed to change it before the patch and the color part worked but it never changed the look of the cross hair.

But on a side note in fireteam have you seen the "bad guys " hit you with there weapon ?? Now why Can't we do that that would be kick @$$ ,but it would be to close to halo or something..

also have you see how nexon lower the nade count to 1 just before the patch and now you have to pay to have a Extra nade ?? what a lot SMEG..

Nostromo n52. That's a beast controller. I thought you could re-assign the x360 buttons to substitute normal keyboard. e.g Assign WASD with the d-pad.

Edit: also, if you read anything, you would know that its now encrypted so you cant JUST change the menus and numbers in the .txt file.
