GFX Card Help

Errr what does it mean whne it says PCI Express 3.0 x16

That's the input of the GFX card into your computer.

How do I know if I can use it ( I have a Dell Inspiron 560 )

Just go to the store tell the guy you want a Graph Card that will be compatible with your PC and let him install it. Voila !

I believe it has to do with your motherboard, like if your motherboard can run a 3.0 graphics card

nVdia is Pretty good .

If your mobo has a 3.0 pci e slot then its a card you can use, if you don't then you don't want to buy that card.

true... well they can just suggest him one and he install it himself... and id rather pay 70$ for them to install it for me if idk what im doing

PCI Express
3.0 = Generation 3.
x16 = Amount of bandwidth.

If a card is compatible with PCIe Gen 3 then it's also backwards compatible with the other generations.
Only the newer motherboards post 2011 have gen 3 compatibility.

PCI 3.0 = two times the bandwidth of PCI 2.0
x16 = how many connectors you PCI slot has, which in this case, is the most.
