Installing NOLF2 and patching for play
This is very simple thanks to yours truly

1.) Burn or Mount the 2 ISO files
2.) Go through the installation and do your basic stuff
3.) When installation is done, go to the Update 1.3 folder, and run that update
4.) Once that's finished, go to your installation directory
Default:
Code:
64 bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\Fox
32 bit
C:\Program Files\Fox
5.) Open the "After Installation" folder i provided
6.) Simply drag and drop the "No One Lives Forever 2" folder into the "Fox" folder
7.) If it asks for replacements, do it up.
Using Mods online
1.) Get to your install directory
2.) Find the folder "Custom"
3.) example explanation of the folders
a.) If you finished converting "GUNS_M_AR and GUNS_T_AR" to CAPS... Use WinRez LT to combine the rez files, put these in Custom/Mod/GUNS_AR
b.) If you have a mod pack, and we are using it on server, put the rez file in Custom/Resources
4.) If your using a mod, go to 5, if your using a Resource, 7
5.) Open up NOLF2.exe, click Custom
6.) Select the Mod name and click OK
7.) If your using a Resource, just start the game!
How to setup your installation folder for modding
1.) Go to your installation directory
default:
Code:
64 bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2
32 bit
C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2
2.) You should see the following REZ files
[code]GAME.REZ
GAME2.REZ
GAMEDLL.REZ
SOUND.REZ[/b]
3.) RezXtract those rez files then back them up somewhere in case you mess something up in the future
4.) Make a new folder in your No One Lives Forever 2 folder called "Game.REZ" like the old school CA Modding (texturescripts.rez ring a bell? lol)
5.) Move the Xtracted rez file contents to the GAME.REZ folder you created
6.) You should now have access to any file needed.
