I can not seem to get the public hack for crossfire working....

Are you running Vista? If so make sure you disable your UAC and as the guy said earlier you might need to download direct X 10, or the latest version. Than follow the guide and everything should go smoothly.

Can't help you more than just telling you to try doing the whole thing again, make sure you follow every step.

Anyway. Try disabling your anti-virus! I always have mine off! I forgot to add that into the guide, that might help.

Its only for Vista users. But you go to start type. "msconfig"
A box will come up.

Click the tools tab and scroll down to Disable UAC highlight it click launch and you will be required to restart you computer.
