Ima getting my Cintiq at th end of this week (hopefully). Maybe I could challenge you to a painter challenge or something then? (yes, I still suck @ doing sigs and sstuff).

Which model you getting 12WX or 21UX?

You seriously can't get the 12WX. It's cheaper to buy an LCD panel + controller from http://agilentpixel.com/, an a4 (oversized) tablet from ebay, change the backlight to LED or some of that film that glows when a small current goes through. Squish it all together between acrylic sheets ad you got the 12WX. I made one with a friend, worked pretty well. just it was impractical cuz the sheets covering the screen were enormous and uncomfortable.

Yerr i saw a tutorial on how to make one. I think they ended up only having to pay a couple hundred dollas or something instead of forking out a grand for a 12WX. Hmm maybe i will go with the 20UX, im too lazy to make my own tablet.

Wasn't the 20" a failure and weren't they stopped being produced? As far as I know the only 2 Cintiqs that "survived" were the 12" (12WX) and 21" (21UX) versions.
