they probably global banned your dna
As far as I know, BattlEye don't ip ban.
There's a few things that states why you are banned:
1. You are adminbanned on a server, they IP ban and you will not be able to join with a different cd key unless you change your IP.
2. You bought a banned key off the market.
3. You ran some hacks.

I've got arma 2 free, and I've only needed to replace my OA key. If you play OA, and you get global banned with OA, you will have to change your OA key I believe.
If you change ip and have the same cd key, then yes, you will stay global banned.
I'm sure that BE is working on IP Banning keys, such as the last ban wave. It seemed that as long as it was activated on your IP and you went into a game, it got banned.
You only have to replace your OA key. And so far BattlEye does NOT ban IP's.
The day they start banning IP's is the day the key business dies. What are you gonna do sell IP's
