Cons: Too bright, too much going on AROUND the render.

Pros: Nice text, nice blending, nice background as a whole.

Extra notes: Lighting placement IS good, I would've maybe added another layer, and set to gradient overlay? and rotated the angle to where the back of mario was a bit darker.

Result: 8/10, nice work

Lower opacity of the scan lines.
Nice colors and blending, But if I we're you I would put more focus on your focal point.
When my eyes meet it they go to the text.

Nice job Ry. I really like this one, and it goes with the no full border thing.

One thing I find wrong, is that the scan lines are cut off around Mario's legs. Maybe somehow blend that in?

I agree with moosic, my eyes go straight to the text, the purple just gets all the attention on it. As for the scanlines i like them, maybe lower the opacity by about 5-10% but without them i think it would look boring.

Otherwise good job.
