The damage done by pollution takes decades to recover. Emitting 25% of the world's pollution, the USA has not only left it too late, but appears to going for a world-wide after-effect this time!

It could be due to the fact that we have 20% of the earths population. Also, if any western country had half the shit that we have in this country maybe they'd produce more pollution. I mean, a car must emit more than the horse and buggy you drive to the witch doctor to cure your cancer. Right?
