IMO, without the render it's better.

if the sword wasn't cut off, and eventually broke through the side of the signture, i think it would look a whole lot better, but because it doesn't, i have to go with the without render one. The text needs working on, and the curling thing on the left needs to be removed, or done some work on, it's got pixels missing out of it.
