Yes there are a lot of hackers out there because there has been a flood of new public hacks. Previously we have been allowing PunkBuster to keep the hackers out and they have been doing a great job, unfortunately it is more of a reactive action and because anyone can just create a new game account in War Rock we are going to be increasing the punishment for those that have created “Hack†accounts to try out hacks on.
We will start HW banning players from our game server for using hacks. (This is not an account ban but a HW ban from our game server.) We will also increase the amount of in-game monitoring by GM's and K2 Staff. Anyone caught using hacks will also be HW banned from our game when they are witnessed by Staff using hacks, and yes we have a long list of names of players that have already been caught and will soon be HW banned from the game.
Eventually when we will have HW banned enough hackers they will think twice before using hacks or force the hacks so far underground that few players will have access to them and even then we have our sources on getting those hacks wink.gif
So fair warning to all, if you hack and are caught you will lose not only your game account but also the ability to play the game from that computer you were using the hack on.
Please continue to send in Abuse Tickets when you have screen shots of Hackers you have caught, we do investigate and have caught them red handed when we spectate then in game because you players have reported them.
Half of those things they posted in that thing are false. No way in hell are the admins even WATCHING us. Let alone moderating and watching for hackers.
Well half of VIP did get banned yesterday
I've been Hardware Banned many times before. I'd RATHER be Hardware Banned than account banned because you can just use a MAC spoofer and log back on! I made my own and it works great.
I believe they account ban and HW ban you.
Yeah, account ban hits some people harder, as like me they had high lvl accounts
Henh... just bring home the kernel and don't worry about HW bans. If your foolish enough to hack on a main account then you deserve to have it banned. This is more of an empty threat than a real threat... seeing how they don't respond to trouble tickets by paying customers for weeks and all of a sudden they are going to start watching games all the time. :P Ha... i scoff at K2.

Many peoples main accounts have been banned even though they never hack on their main, and only hack on "noob" accounts, or so they say
Don't under-estimate the greed of people. I hack soley on my hacking accounts.. cough* bullshit cough* when i'm wanting to just "F" around because at anytime someone can fraps me or screenshot me... now.. when i'm hacking on my main account you would never be able to tell i was because i don't advertise the hacks that i use. The reason i'm able to hack on my main account is because i make my own personal hacks that noone has and i don't have to worry about anyone having it therefore.. PB doesn't know what to look for. Even if you VIP at one of these sites... Someone from PB could get a wild hair up their but and VIP and ... they have the VIP hack. Best to make your own hacks and have no worries.
Back to the point though... People will use trainers on their main accounts to further them quicker... but it's a gamble even with VIP hacks from any site.

To be honest, you dont need hacks at all after lvl 16, i mean a FAMAS & M60 combo is practically cheating
Guess i felt like i was wasting my money by not hacking, stupid decision, i know for next time now.
Henh... no spread and no recoil are always nice to have no matter what your lvl is. ;-)
