wdf...patch client is already running

ok so....i have had this problem for soooo long...i have searched help in crossfire forums even with GM"S but no1 has a solution...ok so like one day on march....yess i havnt been able to play crossfire for 2 months....wel i wake up( a few days afterbig patch) i wake up to play and i click crossfire lauch icon then click start game as always...nothing happens...only the game square goes away....i try it again but when i do it says in a little box...(patch client is already running)....wdf is this..i really need help..i tried so many things:::reboot, clean boot, delete everything and reinstall, erase files, etc.....i need some professional help..many people have had this problem and the couldnt fix it so the had toswitch to combat arms....combat arms is a game i hate...ive tried it hellno im not gonna play..u like borrow guns for weeksor 30 days..i dont want this i want to get back to my precious AWN>>ak47>>i was so close to getting to luttenint on crossfire..with my hax from mpgh(best hacking site ever.....so plz help

This happens to me sometimes. just redo the setup. Yes it is annoying, but you still gota do it

Or make sure you are running in compatability mode

hey guys I don't know if this will help but all i did was wait for it to load. Are u sure u didnt click too many times??? because I only clicked it once and waited for it to load.

Just end the crossfire.exe because even though the patch client doesnt show up the process is still running.Then start game again.

Try running the game from patcher_cf.exe in Game folder.

you should download the newest client directly from crossfire's site...
remember that in some patches the CF admins said that people will need to redownload the whole client because patching wont work...
so... redownload the client =S

ok....welll ive installed the whole client so many times now....already tried starting patcher manually....ok ima redo the setup like 2 times and see what happens ill post the answers later..

nope it didnt work...i reinstalled everything and nope still have the same problem combat arms is boring..........

Maybe you have been banned...permanent ban for hacking...Chek the bann list on the crossfire.subagames home page and see if your caracter is there (banned) .That was happened with my old accound : banned ...and when i tryed to open the game it say that id is allready login or pach is running.

and... why do you talk about CA in the CF section? XD

Ok, this will hopefully work. I had this problem and this is how I solved it. First right click CrossFire, then go to properties, then go to Compatibility, ok now you've done that find "Run this program in compatibility mode for." Under that there should be a box, untick that. Hopefully now, you can get on to crossfire without any problems. If you have further problems with this please contact me, via on forum pm.

The thing of the CF patcher already runing is because maybee 1 moment ago you tryed play the crossfire but your pc failed in run the game i dunno why that hape sometimes xD
So you need wait or restart your pc

Sometimes under 1 patch you can't run the CF patcher only sometimes
