An Editor slot has opened up. If accepted, the individual will be put on a 2 week trial. If the person makes it through the 2 weeks, then they'll be made official.
Requirements:

Must have an strong interest and be extremely knowledgeable in DayZ.
Must be able to word one's self and write well written English (all of the content must be written, none of it can be copy pasted).
Must have a significant amount of time to contribute and maintain the wiki.

Responsibilities:

Write and organize
Moderate and edit user submitted pages and content
Ensure that the game news and other user submitted content gets to the front page.
Work with other editors to ensure that the wiki is up.
Take screenshots, find pictures, structure and format user content.
Actively participate in the development of the wiki, inactivity will not be accepted.

If you have already made contributions to Wiki page, that will definitely help your chances. However, I, along with everyone else can view the logs of who edited and when they edited the page so don't get any ideas to help boost your chances now .

Time available: Weekdays: 4pm -> 8pm. Maybe an extra hour in the morning, around 6am. Weekends; 10am-8pm, maybe an extra 2 hours till 10pm.
Reasons you should get this position: I have an expansive understanding on DayZ and formatting/presenting my knowledge economically and accurately. My English is somewhat at a great standard as I'm reaching an A in English - I also refrain from 'text typing' which can severely damage your English abilities. If there's something about DayZ which confuses me or I simply don't understand, I'll go into great details and study about that certain topic to increase my knowledge, and I love the idea of a Wiki. ^_^

Reasons you should get this position:
I have an extensive, vast knowlegde of DayZ and have worked on Wiki's before prior to this experience. I was a Trial Editor on the Call Of Duty one but I left due to me quitting playing CoD. I know a lot about DayZ and could really help a lot of people. Even if I am not picked as an Editor I will still work on the Wiki!

Reasons you should get this position: I Have been apart of the DayZ section since August of last year and since then i have been trying to use my knowledge of day to help others, I've made a couple threads explaining how to do things such as change you fov which is a small thing i know but i'm just trying to help

I have also played DayZ extensively since early June of last year so i have vast knowledge in pretty much everything there is to know about DayZ. I have also played alot of the custom maps on the game so i would be able to contribute my knowledge there.I Have played the ArmA series before the release of DayZ so i could contibute me knowledge of ArmA to the wiki. I'm hard working and once i get started on something i will stick to it and i'm always willing to learn new things.I have also considered contributing to the wiki previously but i thought you had to be an editor to do that

I try my best to ensure i'm always writing in proper English.

Time available: Almost constantly (4:00pm - 12:00pm Mon-Fri : Almost all day on Weekends..) With the exception of Holidays, or Family Business.
Reasons you should get this position: I believe I would be a great contribution to the Wiki, displaying accurate detailed information about DayZ Mod, and standalone when released. I've been playing ArmA before DayZ was released by 'Rocket' and have been playing ever since. I am also able to add to the wiki with my knowledge about the ArmA series, and help with general appearance. Keeping the Wiki easy, and fun to read.
