there is NO AIR PRESSURE!! so in space, if you took your helmet off, it would litterally suck the air out of your lungs, kinda like a big vacuum

Well, other than space being a near perfect vacuum, it's also incredibly cold, -200C and less, just near Earth.
Yeah, you would suffocate from the lack of oxygen, but more likely you would die first from freezing to death. At absolute zero, everything ceases to move, atoms included. While space isn't absolute zero, it's pretty damn close. Your brain would shut down.

I think it was just the movie.
That's what I was thinking. Unless you were in the Rocket. But if your helmet came off in space, you're going to die from the pressure basically instantly.
